The difference between Competition and Recreation is that those who register for the Competition class participate in the Trail Tour and must start in the first start group for their respective distance. Participants in the Recreation class may choose whichever start group they feel is appropriate (they may also choose start group 1 if they believe they belong there).
Kids race 1 k (for children born 2014 or later). Link for more information.
ARENA
The arena i situated at Rudan, Haninge, 20 km south of Stockholm. Google Maps link
At the arena you collect your number bib at the race office. This is where you start and finish.
To get here and Parking
It is easy to travel here with public transport. The commuter train from Stockholm C to Handen takes 25 minutes. From Handen station it's 300 metres to the arena. If you come by car, we recommend to park in Haninge centrum. Try Handen Terminalen Parkering which is 500 metres from the arena. Regular parking rules apply.
Starting times
To 2026, we will introduce three start groups for each distance. The purpose of the start groups is to create the best possible experience for everyone and to reduce stress and congestion for both faster and slower runners. Our staff will be on site to guide and assist, and to keep general watch over the area – but please note that we cannot take responsibility for valuables.
Bag storage is free of charge and available to all participants.
Can you bring your dog into the race?
No, you cannot. Partly out of consideration for other runners who may be afraid of dogs, but also for accessibility and safety reasons, since large parts of the course run on narrow trails. So the dog will have to stay at home.
Change of names
A change of name or class, can be made against a fee of SEK 200. You make the change yourself in the entry system. September 10th is the last day for changes via entry page. You can change name and distance at the competition centre on the competition day.
During the race
THE COURSE
The course is marked with tape and kilometer signs in the terrain. You are not allowed to deviate from the marked trail.
Please observe: To protect our beautiful nature, it is not allowed to race with shoes with metal studs.
ENERGY STATIONS
Remember that it is important to continuously take in fluid and energy early in the race.
On the "HELAN" 26 km, there are a total of three energy stations. Riddartorp after about 6 km. After 16 km, Paradiset. With 3 km left, you will come to the last energy station Trylen.
On the "HALVAN" 13 km, there are a total of two energy stations. Riddartorp after about 6 km. With 3 km left, you will come to the last energy station Trylen.
On the "KVARTEN" 6 km, there is one energy station that will be located about halfway, after 3 km.
At the finish line, you will be greeted with cheers, drinks, and snacks.
Feel free to bring your own cup to use at the energy stations, as this will reduce the number of paper cups used; they are recyclable – but still.
A good idea is to bring your own fluids, as this allows you to drink continuously and when it suits you. USWE has excellent running vests that let you carry fluids and energy in a convenient way that does not disrupt your running. Enervit offers energy packages adapted to each distance.
THIS IS WHAT YOU GET AT THE ENERGY STATIONS
- Water
- Sports drink from Enervit
- Cinnamon rolls
- Salt pickles
